SUMMARY:1st Speech and Prize Giving Day
DESCRIPTION:Lamasa and Patience Int School had its maiden speech and prize giving day on 25th March\, 2023.The program started with the tune of the school anthem which is “we are the future leaders of the world” sung by the learners.Dignitaries present were Nana Asare Kumi III Chief of Okorase\, Rev. Dr Lamasa Adams and Mrs Patience Adams General Director and Director of Lamasa and Patience Int School respectfully\, Martin Ofori Addo\, Boniface Adjei\, Ps Patrick Opoku and Mrs Selina Opoku all of the Church of Pentecost Adweso District and others. \n\n\n\nThe school prefect Master Henry Prince Akrofi read a brief history about the school. After that\, there were excellent school choir performance\, poem recitation\, bible quotation recitals\, cultural dance\, choreography\, poetry in French\, flute performance\, school cadet display\, drama which was entitled “illegal mining and its effects” There were categories of awards which were the best two academic performance from each class\, overall best student\, well outspoken and eloquent student\, well behaved student and  overall best teacher. \n\n\n\nThe theme for the program was “Educating Great Leaders With Christian Values For Fruitful Future Service” The main speaker Rev David Okondo advised parents to be responsible and train their children spiritually and morally and avoid the use of abusive words. He also admonished learners to stay away from bad friends rather concentrate more on their studies.He proceeded by saying\, learners should take opportunity to serve the country through honesty\, loyalty\, integrity\, faith and hope. \n\n\n\nThe entire program was orderly organized and the guests and the media houses ( UTV) praised the initiative and hope for more program in the future. \n\n\n\nReport by Mr. James Owusu Mensah (Headmaster)
