About Us

Lampat's History

Lamasa & Patience International School was founded by Rev. Lamasa Adams and Mrs. Patience Adams, ministers of the Elim Pentecostal Church in Denmark Hill, London.

They felt called to serve under privileged communities and were led to pantoase a rural farming community in the Akuapem North Municipality of Ghana, where children previously walked long distances to school. The vision for the school began in October 2012, when they launched the project to build an educational complex that would serve the children of pantoase.

Construction progressed steadily, and by 2019, the primary school section was completed. On 7 March 2020, the school was formally inaugurated, opening its doors to 16 children in the Pre‑School and Primary sections. The institution’s mission is to provide high‑quality education infused with Christian values at affordable cost, with a strong focus on creating a conducive learning environment.

Building on its early successes, the school expanded in 2021 by initiating its Junior High School (JHS) program. Entrance into JHS was made selective through intensive exams, with only four students passing the first round and enrolling in September 2021. In 2024, this inaugural JHS class sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), earning a distinction.

From its start, Lamasa & Patience International School has been anchored by the vision “to raise great leaders with Christian values for fruitful future service,” and guided by its core values of honesty, loyalty, integrity, faith and hope. The school offers the Ghana Education Service NaCCA curriculum from Pre‑School through JHS, supported by ultra-modern facilities such as a Technology and Innovation Resource Centre, library, music lab and cadet program, ensuring students receive a well-rounded education.
